The PS5 had a behind-the-scenes demonstration for investors behind closed doors at an event in Japan. It featured the high-capacity fast loading of the new console, up to 10 times faster than the PS4 Pro, PS4. The Wall Street Journal of Tokyo has published the video demonstrating the feat, using the game Spider-Man to demonstrate the speed of the new console. However, the novelty was not officially disclosed and should not be taken into account that the device is still in the prototype phase, far from the final version.
During the demonstration, Spider-Man's "Quick Journey" function was used - when Spider-Man moves from one point to another of the city using the subway. On the PS4 Pro, charging took 8.1 seconds to complete. In the new generation device, the process took less than 1 second - more precisely, 0.83 seconds.

A second demonstration was displayed, testing the speed of map reading. In PS4 Pro, some delay was still noticeable, with buildings far apart appearing gradually. In the new hardware, however, the progression was almost natural and the reading of the buildings was imperceptible, without lockups or delays.
What is known is that, in addition to a considerable improvement in graphics processing, the PS5 should use SSD for data and game storage. The acronym SSD comes from "Solid State Drive," which works similarly to a flash drive, flash memory, faster than the magnetic discs of the HD. In addition, in the presentation, a slide from Sony confirmed that the PS5 will have an unprecedented processor, 3D audio, disk support and compatibility with 8K resolution, the largest ever made for games.
